Make A Difference
May 12th, 2008
Make A Difference started in Escobedo Middle School in 2008. This club started when our teacher Mrs. Dain taught us about bullying with videos, poems, and activities. It all started with the Blue Ribbon Video. We saw how much of an impact one act of kindness could have on one person. Anybody and everybody could change one person’s life with something simple.

Go Make a Diffrence!
I am so glad you all are ‘making a difference’. I hope what you all are doing will spread and become something HUGE! Great Job!!!
Hey guys keep up the great work you are doing! I am so glad to be a part of this group. I look forward to all the plans we have!
” Who You Are Really Makes a Difference to The Escobedo Campus”!!
Rock On!
Look at What a DIFFERENCE you are all making! What can we do to help others want to join us?
I am so pruod to be in this club. Did you see how many people were wearing blue?!? Well half of them had no idea why, but it’s a start. Again this is my best accomplishment
We could spread the word with morning announcements, or we could pass out papers to inform others!
That’s all I have, right now.
Believe it or not, EVERYONE can make a difference! Whether you are just picking up a binder for somebody else, or creating a campaign to stop Global Warming, you can MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!!
Yay! Thanks everyone who us helping!
hey guys i personally think we are getting off to a good start with m.a.d. even tho half of the people that wore blue diddny know why its ok it just gives us another goal. to get people to understand why they are wearing blue. mabe when they know why they are wearing blue more people will acctually do it! way to go mad club you guys rock!!! :p
hey m.a.d. club i hope we can all still keep trying to make a differance throughout the summer. i hope that we still keep blogging to keep in touch and give updates on what we are doing to make a differance.

this is a great club and i think we are really showing how we can make a difference with 1 small thing. with our child haven donations we may not get enough to help every child there get EVERYthing they need but we ARE helping and getting them what they need little by little. i know that being in this club is really helkping me be aware of the bulllying going on around me and helping me to take notin=ce and try to stop it. i really value this club and i am glad i can help us make a difference. i am soooo glad we thought of this last year! (and to think mrs. dain if we hadnt watched that blue ribbon video and we hadnt done that bullying lesson stuff this club wouldnt be here probably and we wouldnt have made all the difference we have)
this is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
THIS CLUB IS A REALLY REALLY FUN CLUB !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
I’m amazed 0.o
I never thought that the club would be so popular and recieve so many comments! ^^
I agree w/ sarah. =]

we need to do even more this year i think.
i mean this is this club’s third year, this should be bigger then any year before this.
despite what we’ve done the past two years i still see a lot of bullying, but that is going to happen anyway.
i think a big part of our school is also unhappy.
we should do a week sometime that is focussed on happiness,
smile at someone today,
i dont know something like that
this is probably not actually a very good idea, i’ll ponder it some more and try to think of something better…
but also, bullying isnt always as noticable as we think.
wouldnt even a dirty look?
a semi rude comment?
anythihg that makes you feel belittled or bad about yourself at all a form of bullying? maybe not majoy, but its still bulllying of some kind isnt it?
